Hazrat Hakeem Mohammad Mustafa Bijnori ra (senior khalifa of Hakeemul Ummat ra) said;
Giving a gift being a Sunnah is an ibadah (worship). And the soul of worship is ikhlas (sincerely doing for Allah SWT’s pleasure). Therefore, one who is giving the gift should try his best to preserve this sincerity.

بڑا لطف دیتا ہے نام محبت

محبت کے بدلے محبت ستم ہے
نہ لے اف نہ لے انتقام محبت

Hazrat Hakeemul Ummat Mawlana Ashraf Ali Thanawi ra said:
“It is excellent to perform qurbani (ritual of slaughtering) on behalf of holy Prophet salallaho alehey wa aalehi waslam. This increases his love.”
