		<description>Jazakallaho Khair,

I read somewhere that they were 250? Anyhow I have immense interest to read brief biographies of those 129 individuals, at least i would love to see the list; would u have it?
BTW, i didnt know the term &#039;mujaz e sohbat&#039;?

Wassalaamu Alaikum,

The list is in Ma&#039;asir e Hakim al Ummat and Ashraf us Sawanih volume 3 &amp;4. IshaAllah, I will try to post it sometime in the future.
There are biographies of most of them, alhumdulillah.
However, following two books have brief vital information about some of them, their contributions and works,
1. Bazam e Ashraf kay chirag by Professor Saeed Akbarabadi ra
2.Aqwal e salaf, volume 5 &amp; 6 by Hadhrat Mawlana Qamar uz Zaman sahib Allahabadi (Allah preserve him)

&#039;Mujaz e sohbat&#039; is a category of khilafet where the permission is restricted. That is, to not take bayiat. They do all the other functions such as guiding others, doing there islah, having a majlis, giving lectures, teaching them dhikr, ashgal, etc. For some individuals it is a stepping stone for being mujaz e bayiat in future. But this is not the case in all.
