Hadhrat Mufti Mohammad Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said,
“There are two robbers on this path (of tasawwuf).
One of them is heedlessness:loosing focus (ghaflah), and the other is committing sin (ma’asiat).
As a safeguard from them one should sit in the company (suhba) of a pious person (Shaykh).”
