ASHRAFIYA

Maseehul quloob Hazrat Mawlana Maseehullah Khan sahib ra said:
“Awrad and wazaif are an essential in sulook.
Remember!
The things which are mustehebbat (recommended but optional) in Shariah are practically (and not as a believe/i’teqad) equivalent to faraiz (absolute essential) in sulook.”

One who does not have a wird, meaning he is not punctual with his daily zikr (remembrance) and awrad (recitations) (as prescribed by the Sheikh) never receives any waridat (Divinely guiding intutions).

These days I am having these overwhelming urges to look at the na mahram (prohibited). That is to cast lustful glances.
I try my best not to do so.
Also, I make dua abundantly seeking Allah SWT’s assistance to be steadfast.

جب ان کو اعتراف محبت ہے عارفی
کیا اس سے بڑھ کے اور تمنا کرے کوئی

Sayyidi wa sanadi hazrat Mawlana Mohammad Taqi Usmani sahib db told us;

There are two extremely deadly sins very much prevalent in our days.
Even the seemingly religious individuals pay little attention to avoid these.
They are:
1. Sins committed by tongue. That is, engaging is lying, back-biting, vulgar or useless speech.
1. Inappropriate use of eyes. That is, seeing [...]

In the state of ihram proceeding towards Masjidul Haram, sayyidi wa sandi Hazrat Mawlana Mohammad Taqi Usmani sahib db repeatedly recited;
لبيك اللهم لبيك
لا شريك لك لبيك
ان الحمد و نعمة لك و الملك
لا شريك لك
and told us:
“In the state of ihram the most superior form of dhikr is this talbiyah.
Reflecting on it, it is my opinion, [...]

قَالَ - لَنَا - حَبِِِِيْبُنَا
اَليَوْمَ لَهُمْ غَدًا لَنَا

Grand Mufti of Pakistan, Mufti Mohammad Shafii’ ra, senior khalifa of Hakeemul Ummat ra writes:
“The narratives regarding the senior Awliya Allah fall under three categories;

Those regarding their kashaf & karamat (unveiling and miracles)
Those related to their higher levels of ibadah (worship) and piety.
Finally, their advice and instruction for improvement to general Muslims.

سر اپنا خم کۓ ہوۓ اپنا سا منہ لۓ ہوۓ

چھڑو نہ ہم کو زاہدو! بیٹھے ہیں ہم پیۓ ہوۓ

چاہتے ہو جو لوٹنا زہد کو تم لۓ ہوۓ

کسیے گۓ تھے شوق سے لینے اس آشنا [...]

Hakeemul Ummat Hazrat Mawlana Ashraf Ali Thanawi ra adviced:
“The easiest way to achieve this is to contemplate prior to recitation that;
Allah SWT has requested me to recite for Him some verses of Holy Quran.
Obliging to this request I am reciting and Allah SWT is listening.
By actively doing this muraqaba (contemplation) all etiquettes necessary for recitation [...]

Sayyidi wa sanadi Hazrat Mawlana Mohammad Taqi Usmani (Allah SWT preserve him and allow us to benefit from him a lot. Ameen!) gives the following invaluable advice to those interested in classic sufi works:
